For Her

I actually posted this on Tumblr yesterday for Valentine's Day. I don't normally do stuff, but I felt like I should do something for someone who means a lot to me.

I actually intended to do a two-pager, or at least more panels than this, but I just didn't have the time to get it done. I think this is succinct enough.

Went through a few different versions - the robot version was actually first (or some kind of Tin Man/Pinocchio monstrosity), but I had considered making it more applicable to others, with nondescript humans. But when I actually considered making the robot into a person (albeit a gray one), I decided to go ahead and color the others. Though I think I also meant to give them many different colors. Er... oops.

Um... anyway, I ultimately decided that I liked the robot the best, as it sort of worked out this feeling of alienation. Though I considered making the robot more human in the last panel.

Aw man, that would've been cool. Ah well, though.
